Payment methods

Accepted payment methods: credit and debit cards (Visa and MasterCard)

  • Availability: Cards issued in Guatemala or internationally, as long as the issuer authorizes online purchases.
  • Billing currency: Charges are made in Guatemalan quetzals (GTQ). International banks may apply exchange rates and fees.
  • Immediate authorization: The issuing bank must approve the transaction. If it fails, the order will not be confirmed.
  • Single charge payments: We currently do not offer installment or deferred payments.
  • Transaction limit: A limit may be applied for security purposes to prevent fraud.

Note: We reserve the right to validate buyer information before confirming an order.

Security and privacy

  • Secure transmission: All operations use encrypted connections (TLS / SSL).
  • Reliable processing: We work with certified gateways under international standards.
  • Data protection: We do not store complete card information (CVV, number, or expiration date).
  • Fraud prevention: Automatic filters and reviews are applied to detect unusual activity.
  • Privacy: We use your data solely to process orders and comply with legal requirements.

Identity verification

To protect our customers, we may request additional verifications for purchases with risk criteria:

  • Confirmation by email or phone call.
  • Bank statement (with sensitive data hidden).
  • Address or document validation (DPI / NIT).

If it is not possible to validate the information, the purchase may be canceled and refunded.

Billing, currency, and taxes

  • Currency: Quetzals (GTQ).
  • Exchange rate: May apply depending on the issuing bank.
  • Taxes: Included or specified during the purchase.
  • Receipt: Sent by email. Request an invoice with NIT before payment.

Customer responsibility

  • Be the cardholder or have authorization.
  • Provide truthful and up-to-date information.
  • Accept our purchase policies.
